Equipment

  • 2 Pint-size glasses

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 beers Modelo, Corona, Tecate, or Pacifico or non-alcoholic beer, well chilled best beers for Micheladas
  • tsp Maggi seasoning sauce, or soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Hot sauce, like Valentina, Tapatio, or Tobasco
  • Ice, cubes
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp Tajin®️ chile-lime seasoning for rimming

Instructions

  • Spread Tajin® on a small plate. Moisten the rim of a pint glass with a lime wedge and dip into the Tajin® to coat the rim with salt.
  • Fill a glass about halfway with ice. Combine the lime juice, Maggi seasoning sauce, and hot sauce, in a small bowl. Mix with a spoon, then pour evenly between each chilled glass.
  • Start by opening your beers and carefully pouring one beer into each chilled glass. Remember to tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle to prevent excessive foam. After pouring, give the beer a gentle stir to ensure it's well mixed.
