Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 ounces tequila blanco or reposado
  • 4 ounces of grapefruit soda Squirt, Fresca, Ting, or Jarritos
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1.5 teaspoons grapefruit juice optional
  • Kosher salt
  • Salt or Tajin for rim
  • 2 oz. fresh grapefruit juice ¼ cup
  • ½ oz. fresh lime juice 1 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 oz. blanco tequila ¼ cup
  • 2 oz. club soda ¼ cup
  • Salt. Sugar or Tajin, for rim

Instructions
 

  • Rim glass with salt or Tajin (optional)
  • Fill a highball or rocks glass two-thirds full with ice.
  • Slowly pour in grapefruit soda, filling the glass about one-third full.
  • Add blanco tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and a pinch of kosher salt.
  • Stir gently and garnish with a grapefruit wedge or slice.
  • Rim glass with salt or Tajin (optional)
  • Fill a highball or rocks glass two-thirds full with ice.
  • Add blanco tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and sugar
  • Then add club soda, stir gently and garnish with a grapefruit wedge or slice.
