Spices: Cumin, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Cayenne, Paprika, Chili Powder, Salt, Sugar, Mexican Oregano
Liquids: Vinegar, Water, Tomato sauce
Making Homemade Taco Sauce
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan, and whisk together.
- Bring to a light boil then lower heat to a simmer for 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
- Allow to cool, and place in an airtight container or bottle.

Storing Taco Sauce
- Good in the fridge for up to one week.
- Taco sauce can also be frozen in an airtight container…good for 2 months.

Easy Taco Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cans 8 oz. of tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chile powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Mexican Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 tsp salt to taste
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan, and whisk together. Bring to a light boil then lower heat to a simmer for 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
- Allow cooling before serving.
- Taco sauce is good in the fridge for up to 5-7 days in an airtight container. The sauce can also be frozen for future use.
